What Shilajit is.
A resin that seeps from cracks in the rock at high Himalayan altitude, formed over centuries by the compression and slow decomposition of plant matter. Used in Ayurvedic practice for at least a thousand years. The traditional form is the resin (sticky, dark, taken by the pea-sized amount), not the powdered or capsule versions that dominate the online market.
The compounds that carry the effect are fulvic acid and humic acid, which chelate minerals into forms the body can actually absorb, and act as antioxidants at the cellular level. The version stocked in the practice is 100% pure Himalayan Shilajit resin. No fillers, no additives, no synthetic ingredients.
Copy above is written from the Naturo Earth product tag and the general Shilajit evidence base, kept deliberately conservative on claims. If Maria wants to add specific outcomes she has observed in the clinic (or reference particular trials she trusts), those land here. The old site's "cognition, libido, bone health, gut cleanser" phrasing was dropped per new positioning — no unsubstantiated benefit claims. Any claim added needs to sit inside the CAP/ASA framework.
How to use
Use.
Take one pea-sized portion (approximately 250mg) per day. Dissolve it in warm water, milk, herbal tea, or a smoothie, or take it directly from the spoon.
Don't mix with alcohol or chlorinated tap water. Room-temperature filtered or boiled water works.

Storage: Cool, dry, away from direct sunlight. Container closed tightly. Once opened, use within two years if stored correctly.

Where this Shilajit comes from.
Sourced from Naturo Earth, a Nepal-based supplier that harvests from the Himalayan foothills, lab-tests every batch for purity, and ships in 100% plastic-free packaging (handmade paper boxes with a cotton-and-coconut-button closure).
Maria chose this supplier after reviewing what was available in the UK market. Most Shilajit sold online is powdered, capsuled, adulterated, or all three. This is one of the few that verifies as the traditional resin form and can show its testing paperwork on request.
Confirm on 5 August whether Maria wants Naturo Earth named on the public site (transparent supplier attribution, credible) or whether the plan is to white-label the product under Maria Gautam packaging (in which case the sourcing story stays but the supplier name comes off). The current live-site packaging still carries the old Vedant Nutrition branding. New packaging decision needed either way before Shilajit ships from the new site.

Is this the resin or the powder?
Resin. Powder is often adulterated. Resin is the traditional form and easier to verify.
How much comes in a jar?
25g (0.88 oz). At one pea-sized 250mg dose per day, that's roughly three months of daily use.
How does the subscription work?
A jar ships every three months at 5% off the one-off price. Skip a shipment or cancel from your account at any time. First shipment is dated from your order date.
Can I take Shilajit alongside my medication?

Anything I should not take this with?
Consult a healthcare professional before taking Shilajit if you have thalassemia, sickle cell anaemia, hemochromatosis, or a heart condition. Don't take it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without medical advice.
